Working with ABLAZE and the GE Foundation, this programme was developed to help mitigate the negative impact of the lunch-time break on learning time in the afternoon and give some structure to lunch-time activities; linking them to the PHSE curriculum and providing learning opportunities for social and interaction skills outside the classroom
Four inner city primary schools worked together with a business facilitator to fully define the issue, with input teachers, lunchtime supervisors and the children themselves.
The solutions were built together and an Imagination at Play folder and CD were produced.
