GE Volunteers

GE people are the "face of GE" taking part in philanthropic activities in hundreds of locations around the world.

GE volunteers facilitate volunteering activities that improve student achievement, bolster community vitality and support environmental stewardship.

Education is the primary focus for GE volunteers.  iCount brings together the company’s UK volunteering activities to maximise the benefits for schools, colleges and communities.

“The 21st century company must not only do well … for investors, customers and employees … it must also do good … for our communities and the world.”  Jeff Immelt, Chairman & CEO, GE

Every GE employee can become a GE volunteer and join a group of people who globally volunteer over 1 million hours every year.

The Foundation strengthens communities by partnering with local charitable organisations worldwide.

Through hands-on commitment and grants made possible by donations from the GE family, the foundation has supported many different community programmes across the world.
