For the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, GE is working with LOCOG (London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games) to support their education programme and their vision of using the power of the Games to inspire change by delivering a memorable games that provides experiences of a lifetime, capturing the imagination of young people all over the world and creating physical, social and sporting legacies that meet the long term needs of people and their communities.

GE is supporting a number of programmes which will give young people a better understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic values of respect, excellence, friendship, courage, determination, inspiration and equality and how living the values will positively impact their lives.
