Ablaze

ABLAZE is a registered charity based in Bristol.  It's aim is to build business and education partnerships, which support learning, raise aspirations and improve the life chances of Bristol’s young people.

ABLAZE has developed many innovative education programmes with funding from GE and the GE Foundation.  Much of the material on this website was created by them.

Working with the GE Foundation and GE volunteers, ABLAZE devised the Imagination at Play programme, which aims to create a broader learning environment and improve young people’s communication skills. 

ABLAZE also piloted a highly-successful Six Sigma in Schools programme, which creates an improvement team from school and businesses.  The team uses the DMAIC process to resolve some of the school’s major challenges.
