Young Enterprise

GE has long-established links with Young Enterprise, a leading business and education charity.  Employees from many of our UK sites venture into the classroom to teach Young Enterprise programmes, which are based on the principle of learning by doing.

Some programmes set students the challenge of working together to run their own real company. Others use games, hands on activities and role-play to develop the skills and thinking needed for business and enterprise. 

The time commitment varies greatly according to the type of programme – it could be a "one-off " day of lessons or  a more regular commitment.
